Application Guide

Apply using airless spraying with pump compression ratio ≥33:1, nozzle size ≥3/8, pressure ≥3000 PSI. Apply one coat of 500μm, wait until surface is touch-dry, then apply the second coat. Repeat until desired thickness is achieved. Alternatively, use troweling: apply a single coat no thicker than 2mm, wait until touch-dry, then apply the second coat.

Surface Preparation

Remove all contaminants. Blast to a minimum Sa2 standard, or power tool clean to St3 standard. For small components, perform thorough degreasing and sanding with sandpaper.

Application Conditions

  • Surface must be clean and above dew point temperature to prevent condensation.
  • Apply at temperatures above 10℃ to ensure proper evaporation and drying of water in the coating.
  • Storage and application temperatures should be above 10℃. If relative humidity exceeds 85%, ensure good ventilation to promote water evaporation and drying.
  • If applied on heated surfaces, surface temperature must not exceed 80℃ to avoid blistering.

Coating Thickness

Adjust thickness based on application requirements, but this affects coverage, thinner usage, drying time, and recoat intervals. Typically apply 500μm per coat, wait until touch-dry before applying the second coat. Avoid excessive single-coat thickness to prevent blistering and other defects.

Compatibility & Recoating

For outdoor corrosion environments on steel substrates, use a temperature-resistant corrosion-resistant primer first. This coating can be applied over high-temperature primers. It can also be directly applied to non-ferrous substrates. Once fully cured, acrylic or polyurethane topcoats may be applied.

Dilution

Add 1-5% clean water and mix thoroughly before spraying.

Packaging
