Application

Dachin EP 550 Epoxy Mica Intermediate Coating is recommended for application via airless spray. Effective single-coat application can also be performed using conventional spray, brushing, or roller methods.

Surface temperature must remain at least 3℃ above dew point with humidity <85%. Curing requires temperatures above 5℃, with maximum application temperature at 40℃. Substrate must be clean and dry. Ensure ventilation in enclosed spaces.

Mix base (A) and hardener (B) in required ratio before use. Use only prepared quantities, stir thoroughly, and consume within 4 hours after mixing. Maintain tool cleanliness and dryness throughout application.

Compatible Coatings

Undercoat: Dachin Zinc 081 Epoxy Zinc-rich Paint, Dachin Zinc 086 Epoxy Zinc-rich Paint, Dachin Zinc 087 Epoxy Zinc-rich Paint, Dachin Zinc 088 Epoxy Zinc-rich Paint, Dachin Graphene 013 Epoxy Graphene Zinc Paint, Dachin Graphene 016 Epoxy Graphene Zinc-rich Paint, Dachin Graphene 018 Epoxy Graphene Zinc-rich Paint.

Topcoat: Dachin PU 770 Polyurethane Paint, Dachin PS 990 Siloxane Paint, Dachin FC 880 Fluorocarbon Paint.

Surface Preparation

Underlying coatings must be clean and free of oils/dust. Apply Dachin EP 550 over properly cured primers. Recoat within specified intervals. Repair damaged areas to required standards before application.

Mixing

Supplied in two-component packaging (Base A and Hardener B). Thoroughly mix each component with power tools before use. Mix strictly by ratio and homogenize.

Application Methods
