Application
Dachin Zinc 081 Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer can be applied via conventional spray, airless spray or brush. Requires minimum 5℃ curing temperature (max 40℃). Maintain surface ≥3℃ above dew point with RH <85%.
Main Components
Graphene-enhanced zinc-rich epoxy coating. Two-component, low-VOC, high-solids, self-curing system containing modified epoxy resin, zinc powder, pure graphene, additives and thinners.
Key Features
Long-term protection for severe corrosive environments:
- Superior corrosion resistance through graphene-enhanced zinc utilization and maze-effect barrier
- Excellent flexibility and impact resistance even at extreme thickness
- Tolerant to low-profile surfaces with exceptional adhesion
- Compliant with ISO 12944-6 Annex B cyclic corrosion testing
Primary Applications
For bridges, offshore structures, petrochemical and paper industries. Complies with JT/T 722-2023 and HG/T 5573-2019 standards.

Application
Dachin Graphene 018 can be applied via conventional spray, airless spray or brush. Requires:
• Minimum 5℃ curing temp (max 40℃)
• Material temperature ≥15℃
• Surface ≥3℃ above dew point
• RH <85%
• Clean/dry substrates with proper ventilation
Mixing: Use mechanical agitation to redisperse settled zinc particles before adding curing agent. Maintain continuous mixing during application. Frequent agitation required when diluted or during extended breaks.
Application: Multiple coats may be needed for brush/roller applications. Extended recoat windows available.
DFT: Adjustable from 50-100μm based on application needs, affecting coverage and curing parameters.
Thinner: Dachin Thinner X17
Recoating: Surface profiling required if exceeding max interval. Remove zinc salts (white rust) via high-pressure water jetting and stiff brushing. Consult Dachin for site-specific parameters.
Coating System
Topcoat: Dachin EP 550 Epoxy MIO Intermediate
Film Thickness
23±3μm (shop primer) | 60±20μm (anti-corrosive primer)
Surface Preparation
Steel substrate must be blast-cleaned to:
• Sa2.5 (ISO 8501-1:1988) or SSPC SP10
• Profile Rz 40-75μm
Alternative: Power-tool cleaned to St3 with degreasing
Note:
• Insufficient profile risks adhesion failure
• Excessive peaks may cause pitting corrosion
