Anti-Corrosion Primer

Dachin EP 020
Epoxy sealant

Main Components

Composed of epoxy resin, special functional additives, modified phenolic amine curing agent, and thinner.

Key Features

Serves as an effective sealing coat on metal aluminum/zinc spray coatings with excellent permeability and sealing properties; demonstrates strong adhesion to inorganic zinc silicate primers (e.g., zinc-rich coatings) and superior intercoat compatibility with various anti-corrosive topcoats.

Suitable as a concrete sealer, with excellent adhesion to aluminum alloys and properly surface-treated galvanized layers.

Primary Applications

Used as a sealing coat on metal zinc/aluminum spray coatings, inorganic zinc-rich coatings, and as a penetrative sealer for concrete surfaces.

Application

  • Airless spraying is recommended for Dachin EP 020 Epoxy Sealer. Effective one-coat film formation compared to other application methods.
  • Maintain substrate temperature ≥3℃ above dew point with humidity <85%.
  • Ensure clean, dry surfaces and adequate ventilation in confined spaces.
  • Mix components in specified ratio before use. Use within 4 hours after mixing.
  • Keep tools clean and dry before/after application.

Coating System Compatibility

Compatible with: Dachin ZS 310 Solvent-Based Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer, Dachin DZ-6000 Cold Spray Zinc, thermal spray zinc/aluminum coatings, and concrete surfaces.

Recommended Coats

1-2 coats recommended, 40±5μm DFT per coat.

Surface Preparation

Light sweep blasting or abrasive grinding to remove contaminants. Concrete must cure ≥28 days with moisture content <8%. Existing surfaces require thorough degreasing, dust/scale removal. Repair cracks/joints with putty or resin mortar.

Mixing

Two-component system (Component A: Base; Component B: Curing Agent). Mix thoroughly with power tools before use and combine in exact ratio.
