Application
- Dachin EP 100 Epoxy Anti-Corrosion Paint can be applied via air spray, airless spray, or brush. Curing requires temperatures above 5°C, with a maximum application temperature of 40°C. Surface temperature must remain at least 3°C above dew point, and maximum relative humidity must not exceed 85%.
- Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed spaces.
- Mix component A and curing agent B in the specified ratio before use. Stir thoroughly and apply within 4 hours after mixing.
- Keep all tools clean and dry before and after application.
Compatible Topcoats
Next coats: Dachin EP 550 Epoxy MIO Intermediate Coat, Dachin PU 770 Polyurethane Coating
Recommended Film Build
Apply 1 coat via airless spray or 2-3 coats via air spray; 2 coats via brush/roller. Target dry film thickness: 60-80μm.
Surface Preparation
- Substrate must be clean, dry, flat, firm, and free of oil, rust, or contaminants prior to application.
- Steel surfaces should be blast-cleaned to Sa2.5 or power-tool cleaned to St3.
- Remove dust with compressed air or clean brushes.
- Remove old paint by scraping and sanding; repair as needed.
- Degrease with solvent and wipe clean.
Mixing
This product comprises Component A (base) and Component B (curing agent). Stir each component thoroughly with mechanical agitation before mixing at the specified ratio. Re-stir after mixing.
