Anti-Corrosion Primer
Dachin SF 280
Galvanized surface special graphene coating
Main Components
A two-component, high-solids, air-drying, high-build graphene coating specifically designed for galvanized surfaces. Component A consists of low molecular weight epoxy resin, pigments/fillers, pure carbon-layered graphene, additives, and solvents. Component B is a specially modified curing agent.
Key Features
- Environmentally safe: Low VOC, free of heavy metals and coal tar. Non-polluting with zero substance leaching after underwater curing.
- Exceptional corrosion resistance: Suitable for extreme atmospheric environments, seawater, freshwater, potable water, soil burial, and chemical immersion.
- Graphene's lamellar structure creates a labyrinth effect, effectively blocking corrosive media penetration.
- Excellent flexibility and impact resistance. Maintains integrity under high-low temperature cycling without cracking, even at ultra-high film thickness.
- Superior mechanical properties: Adhesion strength exceeding 10MPa. Resists cracking/delamination under thermal cycling.
- Combined primer-topcoat functionality: Eliminates multi-coat systems with single application, reducing time and costs.
- Surface preparation tolerance: Accepts power tool cleaning (ST2/ST3 grades) and intact aged coatings.
Primary Applications
- Bridges, marine engineering, petrochemical plants, and construction machinery steel structures.
- New marine equipment: Offshore wind turbines, oil platforms, FPSOs, tension-leg platforms, jack-up rigs.
- Marine maintenance: Steel piles, wharves, bridge piers, sluice gates, breakwaters, dams.
- Other sectors: Oil/gas pipelines, storage tanks, chemical plants, desalination plants, waste-to-energy facilities.
- Complies with JT/T 722-2023 (Highway Bridge Corrosion Protection) and JT/T 733-2021 (Port Machinery Coatings).

Application Conditions
Dachin SF 280 Graphene Coating for Galvanized Surfaces should be applied via airless spray at temperatures above 5°C. Surface temperature must remain at least 3°C above dew point, with maximum relative humidity of 85%. Substrates must be clean and dry. Ensure ventilation in confined spaces.
Mixing: Thoroughly stir Component A with mechanical tools before mixing with Component B to redistribute any settled particles. Mixed material must be used immediately and discarded after the specified pot life. Maintain clean and dry tools before/after application.
Application: Multiple coats may be required via brush/roller to achieve specified film thickness. Recoat time may be extended.
Film Thickness: Adjustable based on application requirements, which will affect coverage rate, drying time, and recoat intervals.
Thinner: Not required.
Recoating: Recoat intervals depend on exposure conditions. If maximum interval is exceeded, profile the surface to ensure intercoat adhesion. Contaminated surfaces must be high-pressure washed and dried before recoating.
Recoating Notes: Consult manufacturer for interval adjustments under specific conditions. Surfaces must be completely clean. Remove contaminants with appropriate cleaners followed by high-pressure water rinse. Profile surfaces if exceeding maximum intervals.
Compatible Coatings
Next coats: Dachin PU 770 Acrylic Polyurethane Coating, Dachin PS 990 Polysiloxane Coating, Dachin FC 880 Fluorocarbon Coating
Recommended Coats
1 coat via airless spray or 2-3 coats via conventional spray/brush. Target DFT: 200-400μm.
Surface Preparation
Ensure surfaces are free of oil, dust, weld slag, and other contaminants before application.
Surface Treatment | Cleanliness | Method | Roughness | Expected Service Life |
---|---|---|---|---|
Minimum | St2-St3 | Manual/power tools (wire brushes, grinding discs) | Original surface | 15 years |
Optimal | Sa2.5 | Blast cleaning | 60±10μm | >30 years |
Mixing
This product consists of Component A (base) and Component B (curing agent). Stir each component separately with mechanical tools before precise ratio mixing. Ensure thorough blending.
